BUKOLA : Susan, you can't imagine the situation I am in right now. In fact, since yesterday.
CALLER : what happened?
BUKOLA : it’s Jordin. I went to his hotel room yesterday to talk to him but I was told he'd checked out. I've tried his number but its switched off.
CALLER : but...what happened? Where could he have gone to?
BUKOLA : sincerely, I have no idea.
CALLER : but he should have called to tell you he was checking out?
BUKOLA : he didn't.
CALLER : and you don't know if he has relatives here or friends?
BUKOLA : I don't know anyone...and even if he does, shouldn't he have called to at least tell me?
CALLER : what do we do now?
BUKOLA : I seriously don't know.
CALLER : have you called his mother to ask if he's already in UK?
BUKOLA : what? Call his Mum? What if he's not there then the poor woman will start panicking. You know she never wanted me to be with him in the first place...
CALLER : that's true....but we can't just sit back and do nothing.

CALLER : okay let's wait for the next few days, if we still don't hear from him, then we'll think of what to do.
BUKOLA : hope it won't be too late by then.

CALLER : well...I would have told you that day but Stan said I shouldn't tell you till things settle properly between you and Jide.

CALLER : he doesn't want you to be angry with him and Jide at the same time, in case he may need to help Jide hook up with you. He told me how Jide never stopped loving you and .......you know the rest...
BUKOLA : hmm...anyway, I don't have the time to get angry with him now till after I've heard from Jordin.
CALLER : (laughs)...okay o. Just don't bother yourself too much. I'm sure he's okay.
BUKOLA : thanks.
The following day, the Aleshs' were having a silent breakfast when Tade broke the silence...)
TADE : Lara.....
LARA : yes Dad?
TADE : why not checkout the school Bro Lekan told you about for Ladi.
LARA : yes I will. But they've not resumed yet.
TADE : okay...(Finishing his breakfast)...I'm off...(Standing up)...please take my suitcase to the car for me.
LARA : yes Dad.
(Lara follows Tade to the car, carrying his suitcase behind him. She decided to ask him some questions....)
LARA : Dad....
TADE : yes?
LARA : you said they had all the evidences against Andrew through his confession with Ken...
TADE : his argument with Ken, not confession....so?
LARA : okay...so then why didn't the Police arrest him?
TADE : because he fled the country before we could do anything.
LARA : oh...but does that mean he knows that their discussion was recorded?
TADE : no I don't think so. Maybe he just fled since he knew the secret is out.
LARA : hmm...okay...but what of Ken?
TADE : yes we could have taken Ken, but we decided to leave the case till Andrew returns, that way he will think that we have forgotten about it, but if we allow Ken to be in jail, Andrew may never come back.
LARA : okay...
TADE : but we're watching out for him. Once he's in the country, we'll strike.
LARA : hmm...
TADE : alright, I have to go now.....(Entering into the car)...
LARA : have a nice day Dad.
TADE : you too....
(After Tade left, Nike could hardly wait for her to enter into the house when she blurted out...)
NIKE : don't tell me you will also sit down and do nothing just like your father said?
LARA : I don't intend doing that Mum. I've thought about it all through the night. And I know exactly what to do.
NIKE : eh ehn... tell me?
LARA : no Mum. Just leave it all to me. I know exactly how to get that girl out of the way.

(Lara enters into her room and puts a call through to Ken....)
LARA : hi Ken
RECEIVER : you again?
LARA : Ken, I have something important to tell you. Something about Bukola you can't ignore.
RECEIVER : hope it’s as important as you're making it out to be?
LARA : yes, so let's hook up.
RECEIVER : (takes a deep breath)...I'll be disappointed if I’ts not worth sparing my time for.
LARA : (chuckles)...Ken, Bukola did something that could land you in jail for years.
RECEIVER : what can she possibly do? This is a joke, right?
