Semy and Jude leaves for Ken's office immediately, taking their meals in a takeaway pack. Fortunately for them, Ken was just driving out of the premises when they were about to park the car, Jude saw him first...)

JUDE : look! He's leaving.
SEMY : shit!...(Pulling out)...we would have missed him...(They follow him quickly)
JUDE : I can't believe this! It's as if the Boss knows he's leaving...
SEMY : do you think he knows what's happening already?
JUDE : who knows...

(They follow Ken as he drives all the way to his house.)




Kurt had gone back to his hotel room with Bukola and Kola. They got in, relaxing on the sofa, tired from their journey...)

KOLA : I really don't know why I came here with you guys...(Entering into the sitting room)
KURT : if you know you want to go home, you better go now and come back before midnight.
KOLA : ...why?
KURT : because this young lady won't stay with me if you're not here...
KOLA : (laughing) really?...(Looks at Bukola)...is that true?
BUKOLA : (standing up)...I'll go and freshen up...
KURT : (standing up) I'll go with you..
BUKOLA : (shocked, she looks at Kurt)...huh? Go with me...?!

(Both Kola and Kurt starts laughing at her...)
KURT : (still laughing)... I was just kidding!
BUKOLA : you're not serious!...(Throws one of the toss pillows at him)
KURT : (laughing, he tries to dodge it)...is there something you'll need?
BUKOLA : a lot of things…
KURT : haha...a lot? But you're just spending a night here...and it’s not like you're going to sleep in my bed...I mean...(Winks at her)...with me...
KOLA : yes, 'cause then she'll need all those things they use...em, facial cleanser, body splash, night spray, sexy night dress....(Turns to Kurt)...Kurt, which colour would you prefer...?
KURT : white...I'd love the white transparent one and the bed filled with...
BUKOLA : (cuts in)..hey! You two are not serious! (Throws another toss pillow at both of them)...I need my soap, my towel, and my pajamas...!
KURT & KOLA : (cuts in laughing)…huh...pajamas?!
KOLA : what? Are you a kid or something?
BUKOLA : you think I'll sleep in the same house with you in a night dress? Dream on!...(Starts going into the room)
KURT : (looks at Kola shaking his head)...she's definitely not gonna gimme a breathing space!
KOLA : (laughing)...look, I'm going home for a while...(Standing up)...I'll be back. We have a lot to talk about.
KURT : yeah...I'll call Uncle Lekan now.
KOLA : we also have to talk to the old man too.
KURT : that's true...(Sighs)...I don't know how all these will turn out...(Shaking his head)
KOLA : hmm...
KURT : and Lara's family, I don't know what to expect from them...
KOLA : maybe you should call her Dad too. But I'm sure Uncle Lekan will handle the whole thing.
KURT : how? He’s not in Nigeria, remember?

(Tade shows up at the police station demanding to see the DPO....)

DPO : you are?
TADE : Barrister Tade Aleshinloye...I was told my daughter is in your custody...
DPO : your daughter...
TADE : (cuts in)...yes Lara Aleshinloye.
DPO : oh you're her father...
TADE : yes.
DPO : and I guess you're her attorney too...?
TADE : yes. Please can I see her and what is her offense?
DPO : please have your seat....
TADE : thank you...(Taking his seat)
DPO : your daughter arranged a kidnap of one Miss Haastrup...
TADE : (shocked)...what! That's not possible! Why would my daughter kidnap anyone?
DPO : yes she did.
TADE : it can't be...what made you say she's the one?
DPO : Barrister, we went to the crime scene and caught her there with them.
TADE : what? (Chuckles)...no it’s not possible. (Shaking his head)....There must have been a mix up somewhere.
DPO : apart from that, one of the culprit confessed to it.
TADE : there must be an explanation for this...please can I talk to her?
DPO : yes....(He calls one of the policemen to bring Lara in.

(Immediately she entered into the office and saw her father, Lara runs to hug him...)
LARA : Dad!...please get me out of here, I didn't do anything.
TADE : what's all this I'm hearing? You, involved in a kidnap....?
LARA : I didn't kidnap anyone....Dad, Ken just called me last night that I should meet him at that place and he was the one I went to meet when I saw that she was kidnapped there.
TADE : who is Ken?
LARA : Ken...one of Andrew's friends. He wanted to help me with Andrew so he can acknowledge Ladi.
TADE : (turns to the DPO)...I told you there must be a logical explanation for this.
DPO : (chuckles)....Barrister, your daughter is lying...
LARA : (cuts in)...I'm not lying! I wasn't the one that told those guys to kidnap her.
DPO : are you saying you were set up?
LARA : ...yes. Ken was the one that arranged for it.
TADE : how did you know that?
LARA : em...since he was the one that asked me to come, I guess he's the one.
DPO : who is Ken?
LARA : he's the one that...that asked me to come there.
DPO : (calls one of his men to bring one of the Kidnappers and Shagy was brought in....)....hey you, I thought you said it was this lady that asked you to kidnap the girl?
SHAGY : (looks at Lara)...yes she's the one.
LARA : that's a lie! It’s a lie Dad! I don't know him from Adam! Tell them the truth! Tell them it was Ken!
SHAGY : I don't know any Ken...(chuckles)...did you not ask us to rape her? You said you were raped and so the three of us should rape her too
TADE : Jesus!...(Turns to his daughter) Toyin...
LARA : it’s a lie!
TADE : it’s a lie? How then did he know that you were raped?
LARA : em...no, I....
SHAGY : (cuts in)...she wanted us to even rape the girl in front of her, that was when everybody came.
TADE : oh my God...but Toyin.... why all that? Why should you do such a thing? Are you involved in a gang thing or what exactly moved you to do all this? I don't understand....
LARA : Daddy...I wasn't the one that kidnapped her.
TADE : what are you trying to achieve by kidnapping someone?
DPO : can you see now?
LARA : Daddy, I'm saying the truth, it was Ken....just check my phone you'll see he called me last night...
DPO : he called you, does that mean he was the kidnapper?
LARA : Daddy please believe me....
TADE : (totally confused)...but I still don't understand why you're doing all this...what for? What has the lady done? Who is she? Is it money you want or what?
DPO : well, I don't know too. But the lady's fiancé is not ready to take things easy at all. He wants a full investigation on the issue...

(At that moment, Tade's phone started ringing and he picks it...)
TADE : hello...
CALLER : good afternoon Uncle...
TADE : good afternoon....
CALLER : (cuts in)...Uncle I need to see you...
TADE : hope there's no problem, because I can't talk right now...
CALLER : (cuts in)...it’s about Lara.
TADE : (looks at Lara, wondering if she had called Kurt too)...what about her?
CALLER : Uncle, she's at the police station as we speak...
TADE : yes, I....
CALLER : (cuts in before Tade could say anything)...I believe she and Ken kidnapped Bukola.
TADE : (shocked)...she and Ken...wait...did you just say Bukola...(Looks at Lara)....you mean it was your Bukola they kidnapped?
CALLER : yes. And she even asked the kidnappers to rape her each.
TADE : so it’s all true?
CALLER : oh....you've heard already?
TADE : I'm at the station actually...
CALLER : oh...
TADE : and she's saying it was one Ken that....
CALLER : (cuts in)...yes Uncle...
TADE : but what has Ken got to do with all this?
CALLER : Uncle, remember it’s the same Ken, Andrew's friend...he actually demanded for the evidence we have them.
TADE : but how did he know......(remembers he had told Lara all about Jide)…oh my God! I can't believe this...
CALLER : I really don't know how he got to know about the evidence...
TADE : my foolish daughter must have told him...(Looks at Lara, who looks away)
CALLER : but...how did Lara know about it?
TADE : I told her. I told her everything so she can leave you and Bukola alone. I never knew she'll go and tell him...I can't just believe this...
CALLER : hmm...I see...
TADE : so he had called to ask for the evidence?
CALLER : yes, in exchange for Bukola...
TADE : (shaking his head)...I totally messed up. I shouldn't have told her, if I'd known she'll do this.......so what are we going to do now?
CALLER : Uncle, I told her to leave me and Bukola alone, but look at what she has gotten herself into.
TADE : I also told her the same thing about three or four days ago, I never knew she'll do such a thing....but...I just can't believe this....(Sighs)...so what do we do now?
CALLER : right now, Ken has not been brought in so we can't even do anything yet...
TADE : yes, but this other criminal is claiming that Toyin is the one responsible for the kidnap and not Ken. I think he's protecting Ken.
CALLER : really?
TADE : yes...
CALLER : okay. I'll call the DPO and talk to him.
TADE : why not talk to him now? He's in front of me here.
CALLER : okay.
TADE : (looks at the DPO)...Kurt…I mean Mr. James wants to talk to you.
DPO : okay...(Collects the phone)
CALLER : hello sir?
DPO : hello Mr. James?
CALLER : yes sir...please I was told that criminal is saying the girl is responsible for the kidnap.
DPO : well that's what he has been saying...
CALLER : he's lying sir. You see, the girl has nothing to do with the evidence I told you about, so she can't be alone even if she's with them.
DPO : you mean he's protecting someone?
CALLER : exactly. But I believe we can still get him somehow. May be you should be close to their Phones, he may try to get in touch with them or them with him..
DPO : hmmm.....I'll work on that.
CALLER : I'll also come over as soon as I can.
DPO : alright....(Gives the phone back to Tade)
TADE : hello...
CALLER : Uncle, I can't say anything about Lara's release just yet, you know it was Bukola they kidnapped and she's a lawyer, I can't...
TADE : (cuts in)...I understand...but please, help me talk to her.
CALLER : Uncle, it’s not just about talking to her right now because she can't just drop the case. You know if she does, it simply means letting all of them go, including Ken, which is impossible...
TADE : (takes a deep breath)...so what do we do now?
CALLER : well, let's pray she's not involved in the kidnap, really, cause if she is....(Sighs)...I really don't know what will happen.
TADE : (sighs)...okay...I'll get back to you.
CALLER : yes sir...
TADE : (hangs up and turns to Lara)....can you see your life? Just a few days ago, I told you to leave Kurt and that girl, didn't I? But you refused to listen...now see...
LARA : I'm sorry Dad...
TADE : sorry for yourself!...(Turns to the DPO)...please, is it possible for me to bail her?
DPO : I'm afraid you can't....because she's the only suspect we have now, except someone else is brought in, we can't.
TADE : (takes a deep breath)....well...if that's the case I have to go....(Stands up)
LARA : Daddy, you can't leave me here...
TADE : I can't take you either...
LARA : no Dad, please...(Trying to hold him from leaving, but he left ignoring her)
